Listen

Online listening interface for the Corpus of Recorded Counterpoint Examples (CRCE)

Recordings can be explored in two ways: by volume on this page, or across the full corpus in the search interface. Volume-based listening supports sequential work within each source repertory and is better suited to sustained interval-recognition practice. The search interface supports corpus-wide navigation by keyword and filters, making it better suited to targeted comparison across authors, procedures, textures, and other categories.

1. Volume-based listening

Browse the six volumes below. This mode divides the corpus into manageable units and preserves the original order of examples within each source, making it better suited to sustained interval-recognition practice and focused work on a single author or a specific group of counterpoint examples.

2. Corpus-wide search

Search the full corpus → /search. This mode provides corpus-level analytical access through filters and keyword search, enabling targeted comparison and transversal exploration across authors, procedures, textures, and other categories, independently of treatise order.
